Clogged Ducts & Cape Cod Cool...

Mommy took her first trip by herself outside the house without Gianna - she had a nice walk in the summer heat Thursday evening.

Daddy has been really enjoying coming home after work and sharing an afternoon nap with Gianna on his chest.

Gianna had her first night where she didn't sleep great. We think it was gas, but she was still sweet even if she was occassionally expressing her discomfort.

Gianna has been having a small bit of gunk in her right eye, and we continued to gently wipe it away. Michelle took her to Dr. Joe (our pediatrician) today and he diagnosed her with a clogged tear duct. Michelle was instructed on how to massage the duct and Gianna was given her first prescription - an antibiotic ointment to help keep her eyes healthy. Her weight was 6 pounds, 10 ounces today, so she has gained 4 ounces since last week.

In the spirit of "Cape Cod Cool", Gianna tried on her best cocktail party outfits tonight. We wish we could be at the Oregon Coast this weekend, for the Yeend Family Reunion. We send everyone there our love.

Gianna had her first trip to Nordstrom today (first day of the Anniversary Sale.) Unfortunately we didn't buy her anything, which she wasn't very happy about...

...but she does have a couple items from Ralph Lauren...

Gianna is excited to meet her newest cousin this fall - Congratulations to Sue & Joe, what wonderful news! :)

Love,
The Brunners Three

  1. Hi Guys....enjoying a Sunday morning by catching up on little Gianna! So precious and I know you are sooo loving every minute. It just gets better and easier.lol! Avery and I just got back from 3 weeks and 3 days of traveling to visit NC, SC and GA. It was a long trip, but very fun to visit with everyone. We spent a week in Columbia with the boys and Jenn and then we all went to Atlanta for a week where Roger and Chad were working. That was an experience to say the least! Anyway, glad all is well and hope to meet her sometime soon. BTW, I have a gift and need you address again when you get time. Just shoot me an email! Love to you all! xoxo Stephanie , Roger and Avery
