Family Finger Lakes Trip

Gianna was a Champ on our trip up to the Finger Lakes Region of NY to visit the Brunner Side of the Family. We found a great Lake house...
...here's the view from the dock where we spent bunches of time swimming.

Gianna met her newest cousin - Siobhan - who turned eight weeks old during our visit.

Gianna didn't like the swing much when she was smaller, but she seemed to take a liking to it at the lake house! ;)

Finley was happy to show Gianna around.

Gianna loved watching bubbles and Aidan and Aunt Angie made some bubbles for Gianna's amusement.

Gianna got a nice visit in with Great Grampa Brunner too!

Gianna was excited to try out her new itsy bitsy, teenie weenie, yellow polka dot bikini at her cousins' local pool.

Grammi showed Gianna around her pretty gardens...

...and Papa helped Gianna dunk like Daddy used to back in the day.

Finley and Gianna rode in the double stroller to Aidan's farm...

...where Aidan and Finley showed Gianna the cows - she was very interested in them.

Puttin' on the Ritz

Gianna is developing an independent streak and continues to experiment her communication abilities.

Her newest word today was "cracker" - as she enjoys a yummy Ritz Cracker or two...She also happened to observe her first lightning bolt today and had this surprised expression.

Summer Time Fun Continues

Gianna continues to make the adjustment back to the East Coast and the warmer temperatures - we've been spending a bunch of time in the pool to cope.

Gianna's also been hanging out with her buddy Will...

...and having fun exploring.

Gianna was working on her footwork today - she must have caught the spirit of the World Cup Finals. She gave Daddy a yellow card for a hard tackle from behind and then a Red card for dissent.

Independence Day

Gianna had a very fun time celebrating her second Independence Day.

She started it off by getting clean with her cousins - Nick and Millie.

Then we went to Whidbey Island and saw some beautiful views on a little hike. Gianna had a fun time playing with the waves.

Then we walked around a cute town - Gianna is loving being able to walk and wanted to hold her big Cousin Nick's hand as we walked up a big hill.

We had a great meal together and Gianna stood still for a moment to pose for this picture with Nick and Millie

One Year Old

Gianna continued her ROCK STAR streak and was great on the drive to Seattle.

We arrived safe and sound & Nick and Millie were so excited to see their little cousin.

Aunt TT was so sweet and generously made this beautiful and delicious cake for Gianna's birthday.

This is what it looked like after Gianna was through with it (with some help from her cousins! :)
