Spring is here!

After some intense storms, we finally have some very spring-like weather.



We went for a nice walk today and her friends Ally and Hannah let Gianna play in their Barbie Jeep...


...and then Gianna found her way into the driver's seat.

Working on crawling

While Mommy was away, Daddy worked with Gianna on her crawling forward...

...she's making progress, slowly but surely, wiggle by wiggle.

Mommy's First Trip

Mommy took her first overnight trip away from Gianna. So Daddy got to spend the day with her!


Even though Gianna didn't sleep great and has a runny nose (we think due to teething) which has made breathing a challenge, she was a trooper.


Gianna got off to a great start eating, by polishing off a 1/4 of an avocado, a big bowl of squash, some puffs, and some mum-mums.


Daddy picked something else for Gianna to wear, but she really wanted to wear this outfit (Daddy insisted on the barrette though! ;)


Today was a beautiful sunny day and we went out for a nice long walk...


...and Gianna uncharacteristically fell asleep in her stroller for a nice nap.


We finished off the day with a nice, relaxing bath. Gianna likes to use the chrome on the the bath overflow drain as a mirror and smile at herself. Gianna did great...though she does miss her Mommy.

Napping Strike is over

Gianna went on a napping strike, but fortunately due to very persistent, yet diplomatic negotiations it only lasted about a week.


Gianna continues to be very happy and is starting to explore her surroundings a bit more independently.


Gianna loves being active and thanks to her Auntie has the proper wardrobe.

Fun with Friends

Gianna had a play date with her buddy Will...


...and we found out that she needs to work on her "sharing."


Gianna made it out to the Bosh to cheer on the Diamond Heels to a series sweep of the Michigan Wolverines.


Gianna recently made her first voyage in a shopping cart. She hung on tight, but did a good job keeping her "hands and feet in the cart at all times."

Picnic Fun

Gianna took Mommy and Daddy to a local park for a picnic lunch.

Gianna wanted to get out and enjoy the sun, before the week long rain arrives. She ate almost all of her yummy baby food and then at some tiny bits of Mommy's Flour Tortilla.


Gianna really seemed to enjoy her first ride on the swing...


...where she had lots of giggles and smiles...

Sunshine Fun

Gianna and Daddy had some fun in the sun this afternoon...

Gianna was in a pretty good mood, even though she was on a "nap strike"...


She helped Daddy park Mommy's Car in the garage.
