Trick or Treat

Gianna had a very fun time with her buddy Dr. Will and some neighborhood friends...


...she trick-or-treated at two of our neighbor's homes and was pleased with her treats.

Gianna brought her friend Baby Nah-Lie (Natalie) to a near-bye park.

Officially Autumn

So, it's technically Autumn, but our summer doesn't seem to have ended as the temps continue in the 80's...


Mommy had her golf tournament last week and Gianna did her best to help out.



We went for a nice "hike" by our house and Gianna really seemed to enjoy nature.

Scintillating September

Gianna started to appreciate her sunglasses as the hot summer temps and bright summer sun lasted well into September.


She's gotten pretty good at putting them on and taking them off...


...and likes helping to get the mail.


Here she's practicing her paparazzi avoidance move...


Mommy and Gianna found a nice park with some WEEE SWINGS!


We actually got some rain and cooler temps, and Gianna finally got to wear her cute rain boots and a jacket.


Gianna also had some fun riding a race car around the track a few times.

...took their parents out to dinner tonight and had a great time playing in the courtyard.

"HIKE"

Gianna gave Daddy a hiking back pack for his birthday last spring and we haven't had much chance to use it due to the HOT Summer that started so early.



Today was a beautiful day - mid 80's - with a nice breeze and Gianna reached for the hiking back pack instead of the stroller...



...so I put her in it, walked through the neighborhood...


...and did a bit of hiking, and Gianna really seemed to enjoy being "in" nature.

September Swimming

Gianna took Mommy and Daddy swimming tonight on another record hot day...Hurricane Earl pushed a high pressure system towards the Piedmont of North Carolina (where we live), so it was nice to get some relief!



Gianna was feeling pretty brave today and went under several times and was pretty pleased with herself as you can see.
