Busy Times in Brunnerville

Big Trip...

TT and 100 degrees

Gianna had a very fun visit with her Aunt TT...


...and survived the record setting North Carolina heat.



We mostly stayed inside, but Gianna was a big helper in carrying the leftovers after we ate out.



We got a bit of relief with some rain and Gianna was serious about...



...trying to "see the thunder."



She was also paying tribute to her Upstate NY heritage...



...with a little Lacrosse...



...or as the Iroquois Nation called it Bagataway.

New Bicycle

Gianna got a new "bicycle" and helmet for her birthday!


She has been very excited about it!

Gianna was very good about letting her buddy Will have a turn.


She made sure he didn't go too fast...



...and steered him clear of trouble! :)


Gianna has also been making sure that there's a place for everything,



...and that everything is in its place!

Heating up

Gianna had a great trip to the beach!


She was really excited to stay at a hotel...


...(though we didn't get any "beach pictures") she was excited to wear her "tu-tu"...


Gianna liked to watch the fish...


...turtles...


...and froggies at the Aquarium.


When we got back, Gianna was excited to pick tomatoes...


...and check on the garden...


...and share the tomatoes...


...with our neighbors.


Gianna continues to be excited to jump in the puddles whenever we get a big rainstorm.

Birthday Weekend

We had a GREAT birthday weekend with Gianna.


We had a fun party with a water slide borrowed from our friends...


...Gianna was excited to wear her bathing suit.


Later in the weekend, Gianna helped Daddy with some errands and wanted to wear a hat, "like Daddy."



Gianna enjoyed having a "treat" at the pool...mmm!!! :)

We got some pretty intense summer storms and after Gianna and Daddy watched the lightning, wind, and rain from the garage...

...she was excited to splash in the puddles...


..in her rain boots...


...like Elmo! ;)
